Looking for inspo on what to pack for a skip trip you have coming up? Rounding up all of my top finds to help you pack for your next trip away! I have been an avid skier my entire life and our family goes out to ski in Park City every year, so I have plenty of experience in what to bring and wear for the slopes!

Rounding up all of my top finds for each category of items you will need for your next ski trip away! I would recommend buying everything in advance of your trip as you want to be ready to go upon arrival and not be scrambling trying to find all the right gear that fits right once there.
Ski Socks
Start with a warm pair of ski socks that are heavy wool material. Note my preference is putting these on BEFORE the under layer leggings. The quality of socks are important and you want them to be fitted as a bad pair of ski socks can ruin the whole day if sliding around or not warm enough! Linking a few options but the Bombas (bottom left) are my top pick and I ordered these for our upcoming ski trip. Also including a few more affordable options as well if on a tighter budget.
Sports Bra
Next, get a comfy sports bra on that moves easily and is sweat wicking to keep the girls in place all day! Linking some of my top sports bras I have ever purchased as not overly tight and restrictive yet still supportive and soft.
Base Layers
Now you’re going to put on your base layer – you want something fitted, comfortable, breathable and moisture wicking. I like to tuck my base layer top into my leggings! I recommend having enough sets for a fresh pair each ski day as these will get the dirtiest.
Sweaters/Top Layer
I always put on a second layer over the base layer before putting the ski jacket on. These are some of my favorite wool sweaters that are comfy, stylish, and warm!
Ski Pants
Get your ski pants on for the final top layer and tuck your sweater into the ski pants. I only keep the baselayer leggings + socks under the ski pants with no other layers. When trying on ski pants, make sure to try on with all of your other layers as well to make sure fits properly. The Perfect Moment ski pants are so cute but I had issues with the buttons continuing to pop open as a warning if considering. I’m taking to a tailor to fix. These pants are perfection and I have in both black and white.
Gloves/Mittens
Definitely a personal preference if you prefer gloves or mittens. I prefer gloves as I don’t like the feeling of my fingers being constrained, but my sisters are all team mittens as easier to keep your hands warm. Can’t go wrong with either! Linking a set of heated gloves which are great for chilly days and glove liners as well if you need some extra warmth.
Ski Jacket
Helmet
You only need one helmet to ski unless you’re feeling super extra. I wrap my goggles around the helmet, but you can also choose to get one with them connected as linked below! You also have the option to rent a helmet at ski rental stores if trying to pack lighter, however they are generally less comfy.
Ski Goggles
My favorite goggles are the ones with interchangeable lenses to adjust based on the conditions!
Accessories
Snow Boots
I recommend packing a pair of snow boots to change into and out of to walk to ski lift and for post ski apres.
Belt Bag (Optional)
I also do not ski with a belt bag, but a great option to layer on if you need to carry a few more items while you ski.
Ski Boots (Optional)
I do not own my own pair of ski boots, but seriously considering investing in a pair. Sharing some favorite finds below, but definitely try and trial these out before purchasing if able!
Hope this helps when trying to figure out what to pack for a ski trip for your next winter getaway! John and I are headed out to Austria next week to ski in Mayrhofen and St. Anton, will be sharing all of our fave spots and highlights!
