The Ultimate Girls Miami Weekend – 4 Day Guide

The following is a Girls Miami Weekend – 4 Day Guide including where we stayed, our favorite clubs and bars, and all the eats!

This past April, my best friends and I booked a trip to stay a long weekend in MIAMI. I had been there once before for my sister’s bachelorette party – read more on that here. I was excited to have a slightly more low-key Miami Weekend Getaway with my girlfriends (after last visiting Miami for my sister’s bachelorette party – full guide here) and get some sun to kick off the summer!

Accommodation:

We stayed at the Kimpton Angler’s Hotel in South Beach which was the perfect spot for us. The location was perfect: close to the beach, shops, and main clubs & restaurants. It had a nice boutique hotel vibe with a rooftop pool we could lay out on. Our rooms were super nice and every day they put out snacks and drinks for a mini happy hour! We also took advantage of the rooftop workouts in the morning and a cocktail hour in the evening.

Eats:

Under the Mango Tree: This acai & juice bar was easily my favorite spot that we visited during our trip. I think the pics below give you an idea of how much we loved it hehe. Our hotel was conveniently right next to it which we definitely took advantage of. When I say I could eat acai every day, I am not kidding. My go-to order was the chocolate bowl with added kale in acai blend + granola & almond butter on top.

Cecconi’s: The cutest spot inside the courtyard of the Soho Beach House. Cecconi’s is open for brunch, lunch, cicchetti, and dinner 7 days a week. I had gotten brunch there during my sister’s bachelorette party which I would highly recommend, but we just did dinner there for this weekend getaway. We split a few apps and entrees for the table including the burrata, tomato, avocado, basil appetizer and the buffalo mozzarella pizza, gnocchi verde, and tagliolini. SO GOOD.

KYU Miami:

KYU Miami was not even a 2 min walk from the Wynwood Walls. This was a super trendy, fun spot to hit up after exploring the amazing murals in Miami. We ordered a bunch of items from the menu to share and our favorites were the roasted cauliflower, japanese sweet potato, roasted brocolli, fried chicken, fun cocktails, and the coconut cake for dessert.

Cafe Demetrio:

This cafe was a little further out from South Beach but worth the drive if you have the time! My bestfriend Lauren swears by Cafe Demetrio and make a point to stop by every time she visits Miami. We ordered a few different things from the menu along with the cutest Capuccinos that they decorated the top with. I ordered the greek eggs with a side of potatoes. Sooo yum!

Things to Do:

SLS Pool Party: This was our favorite part of the trip. SLS is a super trendy pool party that can carry through the entire night. If you are with a group of girls, DEFINITELY find a Miami promoter and get there early to get a free table and drinks. Make sure to dress your best as it is a nice day club! We made sure to all wear our best bikinis, curl/straighten our hair, do our makeup, put fun jewelry on, and wear wedges/heels. SLS pool party is a definitely a chance to embrace your inner basic which we loved and made sure to snap a ton of pics. There were other girls at the tables with us who we became friends with in the pic below!

Wynwood Walls:

We had so much fun exploring these colorful graffiti murals that are free to see. There was also a pop up Glossier shop which we enjoyed wandering around. The walls are always changing which is fun if someone in your group has been to Wynwood before.

Cocktails at the Broken Shaker:

The Broken Shaker is the cutest cocktail bar inside the Freehand Hotel. If you want a more lowkey vibe, then this is your spot. They have mixologists at the bar to craft you specialty cocktails, and the outdoor seating has Christmas lights year round with fun mismatched furniture.

Nightclubs:

We purchased tickets to see Marshmello at E11EVEN Miami. Lesson learned here for our group that we should have shown up wayyyyy later than we did. Club E11EVEN starts as a strip club and then eventually transitions to a normal club with DJ’s and performers. We probably would have shown up around 2-3am had we gone a second time around.

And that’s a wrap! We spent a decent amount of our time lounging by the beach and pool just soaking up the sun, which is EXACTLY what we needed to relax this vacation.

Now ready to plan out our next vacation…where should we go?!
