These bars are made with just 7 simple ingredients and are, gluten free, refined sugar free, & dairy-free. These triple layer bars are the perfect healthy treat to satisfy your sweet tooth or to take as a quick snack on the go!
Ingredients you need to make these Triple Layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Purely Elizabeth Granola – I used the original flavor which is gluten free, naturally sweetened, & made with organic quinoa, amaranth, & chia seeds!
Coconut Oil – Made by pressing fresh or dried coconut meat. It is an antioxidant loaded, healthier cooking oil that is anti-inflammatory and full of MCT’s which may support fat burning.
Creamy Peanut Butter – Make sure to go only with one ingredient brands to keep out the junky ingredients like extra sugar/oils. Check out the link for one of my favorite brands!
Coconut Flour – This is an amazing gluten free flour substitute made from coconut flesh, dried, and ground into a flour like consistency.
Dark Chocolate Chips – I always look for chips with low sugar and simple ingredients! Enjoy Life is one of my favorite brands to use for healthy treats.
Tools you need to make these Triple Layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
This recipe has only a few simple steps, but you will need either a high power blender or food processor to whip these up. The following tools are what you will need:
- Vitamix or Food Processor* (or other high power blender)
- Mixing Bowls
- Measuring Cups
- Measuring Spoons
- Parchment Paper
- Baking Pan
- Chopping Knife (For slicing)
