September Faves – Roundup

It still blows my mind how quickly this year has flown by.. how is it already October?!!? So crazy. I want to start doing monthly roundups to share my favorite finds each month! Could be anything from house decor, food products, kitchen devices, clothing, podcasts, books, music, etc.

The following is a roundup a few of my September Faves! Starting to transition to all things fall with my pumpkin candle and snakeskin booties. I love this time of year and really embracing the change that comes with it!

These are in no particular order, just what I loved last month!

September Faves:

Pumpkin Spice Candle: Purchased on Anthropologie or Nordstrom & leaves your place smelling perfectly like all things fall. I left a poll on stories asking if I should go with Pumpkin or Apple, and so happy you all chose Pumpkin – it always puts me in a great mood once I light it up and get my house smelling super cozy and like fall.

Lavender Essential Oils Spray: Spray some of this on my pillow before bedtime and helps knock me right out. Lavender essential oils are really great for setting you up for a successful night of sleep. I also spray some of this on my towel to wave around in my night Yoga Sculpt classes.

Snakeskin Booties: Super sassy & fun. Perfect for dressing up on outfit or going out to bars. Plus these are super comfy & affordable which I always appreciate in a good pair of booties.

Girl, Wash Your Face: Awesome read to motivate you and get your booty in gear. Rachel Hollis is a witty, funny author who is not scared of holding back on any topic. My coworkers recommended this read to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed finishing it this month.

Paleo Gingerbread Almond Butter: Such a fun spread to add to your toast, smoothie bowls, oats, etc. This has the perfect fall flavor and is sooo gooooood. I was so grateful to get a sample from Expo East – read more on my natural products Expo experience here. I love the clean ingredients in the product and it is seriously addicting!

Pumpkin Pie Perfect Bars: The first time I tried to snag some of these at Trader Joe’s they were completely sold-out much to my dismay. However, the second time around I was able to stock up these & they’re seriously so good!! I love stocking up on all things pumpkin this time of year, and these are the best on-the-go snack that has all the fall feels.

Blondo Waterproof Boots: Such a fall staple. I LOVE Blondo boots considering they are WATERPROOF without the chunky bulky look of rain boots. Nobody looking at them would think they were were rain proof and super cute & stylish with jeans and skirts.

Basic Black Sweater: The coziest sweater to purchase for this fall/winter season. I am obsessed with this sweater and the comfiest thing to throw on. Currently wearing it as I type this and love a staple black sweater as it seriously goes with everything!

The Skinny Confidential Podcast: If you follow along on stories then you know that I recommend a ton of their episodes. Lauryn and Michael consistently deliver high quality, valuable content with a variety of guests that bring different things to the table. My favorite episode this September was #217 – interview with Greg McKeown, the author of the bestselling book Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less. This really gave perspective on how I approach my life and valuing my time towards to essentials and less on the non-essentials.

Reusable Makeup Wipes: I’m definitely not perfect, but something I’ve been really focusing on is reducing my waste and finding ways to cut down even further. One thing I discovered were these REUSABLE makeup remover wipes and they are MACHINE WASHABLE. They have the perfect level of firmness but soft and I use them for both removing my makeup and applying toner on my face. They came out sparkly clean and in perfect condition again once running through washer. Even comes with a mini laundry bag for them to toss in. 10/10 would recommend!

Music: There were a ton of new releases last Friday 9/27. A few of my favorites that came out:

  • Rushing Back by Flume
  • Holy Water by Galantis
  • Just My Luck by Marc E. Bassy
  • Wave (feat. Mike Sabath) by Meghan Trainor
  • Lonely (with Jonas Brothers) by Diplo

And that is all for my September roundup! Let me know what you think and what your favorite finds were last month!
