Paleo Chicken Tikka Masala (Quick & Easy, One-Skillet)

This Paleo Chicken Tikka Masala is made with ghee and coconut cream to keep this meal paleo and is cooked in 1 skillet! Ready in 20 minutes and so delicious served with cauliflower rice and any other toppings you desire. Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Protein Packed.

Paleo Ingredients You Need:

  • 2 Organic Chicken Breasts
  • Coconut Cream
  • 1 Can of Organic Tomatoes Diced & No Salt Added
  • Diced Red Onion
  • Garbanzo Beans
  • Ghee
  • Cilantro

How to Make this easy Paleo Chicken Tikka Masala Skillet:

Step By Step Instructions

  1. Sautee 1/4 cup onions with 1 tbsp ghee in medium heat in your cast iron skillet.
  2. Add 1 can of diced tomatoes and 1/4 cup tomato paste to the skillet and sautee for a few minutes.
  3. Blend the tomato and onion mix until creamy.
  4. Add seasonings to chopped chicken breast.
  5. Mix completely to coat chicken breast in full.
  6. Add blended tomato mix, seasoned chicken, and 1/2 cup chickpeas back to skillet. Bring to simmer and cook for 10 minutes
  7. (Not Pictured) Add 1/4 cup coconut cream to skillet and cook an additional 5 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Ingredients

  • 2 Organic Chicken Breasts
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Cream
  • 1 Can Organic Tomatoes Diced & No Salt Added
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup Garbanzo Beans

Seasonings:


Instructions

  1. Sautee 1/4 cup onion with 1 tbsp ghee on castiron skillet for ~3-5 minutes until golden. 
  2. Add in 1 can of diced tomatoes with 1/4 cup tomato paste and saute for another few minutes. 
  3. Transfer tomato mix to blender and blend until smooth. 
  4. Chop organic chicken breast into cubes using a sharp knife. 
  5. In bowl mix in the seasonings (1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp curry powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp garlic powder) and coat chicken breast in full with seasonings. 
  6. Add tomato mix and seasoned chicken back to the skillet and bring up heat to simmer. Bring heat down to low-medium and cook for 10 minutes. 
  7. Stir in 1/4 cup coconut cream and cook for another 5 minutes. 
  8. Top off with about 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 
  9. Serve with your favorites! To keep this meal paleo, it is very delicious with sauteed cauliflower rice!
