Girls Weekend in Las Vegas, NV (Where to Eat, Drink, & Stay)

This Girls Weekend in Las Vegas, NV recap includes an itinerary at a glance plus a detailed day by day recap, along with additional recommendations of where to eat, drink, stay, for your girls weekend away!

My sisters and I had the the BEST girls weekend in Las Vegas for my birthday last July. I conveniently was already in Las Vegas leading up for a work trip, so we knew it was a sign that we had to plan something (my actual birthday was that Friday)! This may have been our first sisters only trip (have done plenty with the fam but never just us), so this was definitely a weekend I will forever cherish! 💖

(Detailed itinerary further below)

Where to Stay in Las Vegas:

Hotels

The following are my top hotel recs that are PERFECT for a getaway girls weekend in Las Vegas! I feel like you can’t really go wrong with any of the options below, the main thing to prioritize is staying on the strip and ensuring you are closer to the places you plan on going to for the weekend.

ARIA Resort (~$127-589/night)*

We stayed at the ARIA during for our girls weekend in Las Vegas and had a great experience! The location was mostly walking distance to everything we had planned and the room was very spacious and nice. This hotel is closest in proximity to Catch, The Aria Spa, and the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

*Rates vary significantly depending on time of year/days, but for 2 nights on a July weekend we payed $462/night.

The Cosmopolitan

Stay at The Cosmpolitan for some of the best hotel views of the strip. This is a great central location that is right in between The Aria and Caesar’s Palace. I would definitely consider staying here for my next girls weekend in Las Vegas!

Closest in proximity to Chandelier Bar, Beauty & Essex, Aria Hotel, and Caesar’s Palace.

The Palazzo (~$272/night)

This is where I stayed for the earlier half of the week for my work trip. The rooms were so spacious, and the hotel was massive with everything you could possibly need (restaurants, shopping, pool, etc). Closest in proximity to the Wynn Hotel, XS Nightclub, Sushi Samba, The Venetian Hotel, and the Beatles LOVE show.

Day 1 (Thursday)

Late arrival into Las Vegas – check into your hotel (I was already in Las Vegas at the time, so my sisters crashed the first night in my room at the Palazzo. I conveniently had 2 double beds in my room through my work trip) 🙂

Sushi Samba

Depending on what time you arrive, dinner at Sushi Samba is the perfect way to kick off your girls trip in Las Vegas! We ordered a variety of plates/rolls for the table, and everything was delicious! Plus they even brought out a cake pop for my birthday 🎉

XS Club

Just a quick walk away is XS Nightclub where we danced the night away. Note that my company did rent out the entire club for the night, so I would recommend checking out this club event page leading up to your girls trip to see what the lineup is so you can plan accordingly. I definitely recommend XS if you like who is performing that night as the layout is really cool, and they have both indoor & outdoor areas.

Day 2 (Friday)

Tableau

Start the morning with brunch at Tableau in the Wynn Hotel, an American fare restaurant with the cutest interior. Plus the food was INCREDIBLE, easily one of the best salmon benedicts of my life!

Wynn Hotel & Pool

After brunch, you can walk right next door to lay out at the Wynn Hotel pool. The pool was super cute with a ton of beds or cabanas to rent out. You could also opt to just return to your own hotel pool to enjoy some sun for a bit.

Qua Baths & Spa

Afterwards, head over to relax at Qua Baths & Spa in Caesar’s Palace. You can reserve a 3 hour non hotel guest spa pass here. They have a variety of time slots you can choose from starting at 9:30am and ending at 3pm. Passes were very reasonable in my opinion, especially for Las Vegas, at $90 per person.

This was the perfect way to relax & detox from our night out before. We definitely enjoyed the variety of baths, saunas, steam rooms, and even snow room the spa offered. Definitely make sure to get under the rain shower (photo on the left) while there it was heavenly!

Afterwards, we went back to our hotel room at the ARIA to take a catnap and freshen up for the night!

Chandelier Bar

We kicked the night off with espresso martinis at The Chandelier Bar for a bit of an energy boost to carry us through the night. This bar is located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel, you can’t miss it! Note that it is walk in only, but we did not have to wait too long for a table! As you wait you can snap some pics in front.

Beauty & Essex

After drinks, you can walk right over to Beauty & Essex for dinner. It’s also located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel which made timing much less stressful for us. Beauty & Essex is a speakeasy restaurant hidden behind a secret door in a pawn shop. It was a really cool entrance, and we had an amazing experience at dinner. Definitely must try the grilled cheese bites (pictured below)!

Absinthe

After dinner, we headed to the show Absinthe by the Caesar’s Palace starting at 11pm. This honestly was the greatest disappointment of our trip. We were so excited for the show, and tickets were pricy at ~$150 per person. However, we personally found the comedy just repulsive, crude and not remotely funny. We had read reviews that it was raunchy, but this was beyond raunchy, it was gross, not even funny attempts at humor. I couldn’t wait for the hosts to shut their mouths to get back to the performers every round. Had it not been for how repulsed we were by the hosts, we would have loved Absinthe as the talent was incredible.

Some of the acts pictured above were our favorites, the roller blading couple and the girls swinging on standing poles. Definitely read other reviews on your own to make your own decision to see or not.

The Beatles LOVE

After our interesting Absinthe experience, I would highly recommend seeing The Beatles LOVE in The Mirage hotel as an alternative option. I had seen earlier that week with my coworkers. It was a really beautiful, fun show and you will especially love it if you are a Beatles fan. They played all of the top Beatles hits, and the performances were such a blast to see.

Note that the latest show starts at 9:30pm, so you would need to bump up the cocktail and dinner times to make it in time to the show.

Day 3 (Saturday)

The Garden

We started the morning with a Drag Brunch at The Garden off the main strip. Definitely a bucket list experience for us, but I don’t think drag brunch was our vibe! The queens were awesome, and had really fun outfits and would do a lap every round through the tables. However, we were still just dead from 2 long nights of drinking, and not at all in the mood to do bottomless that morning. Plus the food was very mediocre, you pay for the mimosas and the queens.

I think this would have been more fun as well with a larger group, and at a better table (get there early to ensure that you get the tables with the best views). Make sure to have cash on hand as well to throw dollar bills. There were a ton of birthdays/bachelorette groups, so definitely the vibe if that is what you are going for!

ARIA Spa & Baths

If you haven’t picked up on this quite yet, we LOVE the spa 😆 We headed back after brunch to the hotel for another day of relaxation, this time at our hotel’s spa. You can purchase a day pass for ~$100 here. My sister’s said they loved this spa more than Qua.

It had two meditation salt rock rooms, an outdoor pool (the funniest part was seeing the pool party from the spa haha), and a variety of baths, spas, and steam rooms. Can’t recommend this enough to recover from the heavy drinking and detox the body a bit before going out for the night!

Catch

After some much needed R&R at the spa, we went back to the hotel room to freshen up for the night! Started with dinner at Catch with the most beautiful arched entrance to the restaurant. This was super convenient for us as well since it is located in The Aria.

The Surf & Turf roll, not kidding, was easily one of the best rolls I’ve ever had (sister still brings it up too haha). They also surprised me with a cake covered with melted chocolate that you smash in. Make sure to cover up with napkins first, the ice cream may have splattered a bit when smashing 😅

Vanderpump Cocktail Bar

Grab an Uber to drop you off at the Caesar’s Palace for cocktails at Vanderpump Cocktail Garden. The space is gorgeous and offers a variety of unique, handcrafted cocktails. I would give yourself extra time to get there due to traffic along with finding the actual bar can be tricky as the hotel is huge! It is first come first serve, so waits can be long ~30-60 minutes. There are other bars as well in the hotel you can grab a drink from if you prefer not to wait that long!

Omnia

We finished the night with Martin Garrix at the Omnia nightclub. I recommend connecting with a promoter to get free entry/table upon entry. Note you HAVE to meet the promoters at the time shared with you or you’ll end up having to wait in lines and not get the entry perks. We had so much fun and the light shows were incredible inside. Note, the DJ’s normally don’t come on until SUPER late so plan accordingly!

Day 4 (Sunday)

Check out of the hotel and grab some breakfast sandwiches at Eggslut for the road. Grab an Uber and head to the airport for departures. 🙁

Airbnbs

As much as I love Airbnbs when travelling, I don’t actually recommend them in Las Vegas. Being in a hotel is so much better as you are right in the thick of everything and often don’t even have to step foot outside to get around!
