Classic Banana Walnut Bread (GF, Dairy Free, Protein Packed)

This classic banana walnut bread is gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, and protein packed! Made with coconut flour and gluten free along with some spotty bananas.

Call me crazy but seeing some brown spotty bananas gets me beyond excited lol. Seeing them screams just one thing in my eyes: banana bread time! Spotty bananas just hit differently on a taste level and pack way more flavor than the non spotty bananas. Also I hate wasting food and they are most definitely unappetizing to eat.

What makes this banana walnut bread healthy?

This recipe uses real food ingredients that are one ingredient foods and gluten/grain free! Some ingredients this recipe uses are as follows:

  • Spotty Bananasthe spottier the better as this gives your bread more flavor!
  • Coconut Milkyou can find cans at most grocery stores and I always stock up at these on the store. Make sure to buy cans with no added sugar or gums!
  • Pasture Raised Eggs try to go pasture raised when you can for the highest quality eggs
  • Coconut Oilcoconut oil packs in moisture and flavor with just one ingredient
  • Vanilla Extracti recommend going organic with no added ingredients
  • Coconut Flourthis is an amazing gluten free flour substitute made from coconut flesh, dried, and ground
  • Gluten Free Oat Flour – if you do not have on hand you can also create your own by blending gluten free oats
  • Vanilla Protein Powderthis is optional, but adds in some extra protein into the bread
  • Baking Sodahelps the bread rise while baking

DIRECTIONS: 

Mix wet/dry ingredients separately then together. Spread in loaf pan. Sprinkle w/ choc chips & walnuts. Bake at 350 for 45 min. ENJOY🥰
