Bachelorette Weekend in Charleston Itinerary (at a Glance)

A few girls put together this itinerary for the bachelorette weekend in Charleston, SC. This was SO helpful to know ahead of time what to expect! We could not have had a more perfect weekend, and everyone had varying return flight times on Sunday.

Where to Stay in Charleston

AirBnb/Vrbo

This is the exact house we stayed at – it was so spacious & GORGEOUS. Our address was 3401 Palm Blvd Isle of Palms, SC 29451 which was the most stunning, perfect, amazing home for the bachelorette weekend in Charleston!

The house came with a starter pack of household items like TP, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. Towels were provided and we had access to the washer and dryer if we needed to do a load of towels. The kitchen was als stocked with cooking utensils and had a Keurig.

How to Get to Charleston, SC

Fly: There are many nonstop flights into Charleston International Airport from main cities (most of girls came from Dallas). Many of us were coming in from different cities but were able to find nonstop flights if central/east coast or connecting flights if in the west coast (couple girls came came in from Salt Lake/Portland). From there, it took us a ~30 min Uber to get to Isle of Palms.

Drive: Nobody in our group drove, but definitely a great option if within a reasonable driving distance! There was plenty of parking at the house.

Amtrak: There is an Amtrak station in Charleston if you want to go the train route. However, the only main city I was able to find with a reasonable travel duration time to Charleston was if coming from Savannah (~1.5 hour trip). Otherwise flying/driving are your best options.

How to Get Around Charleston

Car Rental: This could be a nice option to at least get one car to have on hand for any food pickups, coffee/grocery runs, etc. We did not have more than one car in the house. You can search for rentals below.

Uber/Lyft: This was our main form of transportation. We sometimes had a hard time getting drivers in Isle of Palms where the house was located, but always got one eventually so be patient if going that route!

Guest Goodie Bags

Upon arrival at the most insane home we were greeted with the cutest crewneck and goodie bag to take! Linking everything below that was in the goodie bags + the best night cream. The girls also got the bride extra goodies for her welcome!

Packing Inspo for Charleston, SC

Total Weekend Cost Breakdown:

  • $665: This was broken out in 3 payments across 5 months leading up to the big weekend.
  • $160: Remaining expenses split across group post trip for food/alc/etc.
  • $34: Crewneck Cost
  • $50: Cost pp for Ubers to get around over the weekend
  • $337: Roundtrip flight NYC to CHS

Total Cost: ~$1.3K pp. Spending an unforgettable weekend celebrating one of your best friend’s finding the love of her life: PRICELESS.

Note, I definitely appreciated the costs spread out over time, so definitely something to consider when planning your bachelorette weekend in Charleston!

Detailed Bachelorette Weekend in Charleston Itinerary

Thursday

Check-in to the house

Check in was at 4p for the first arrivals to get set up. Mine and a couple other girls flights all landed around 3:50p. We synced up at the airport upon arrival for a quick late lunch before Ubering to the house.

The girls planning the weekend scheduled a grocery delivery to the house from 5-7pm. The rest of the night was super chill as girls had staggered arrivals through the remainder of the night. We hungout in the hot tub for a bit, played some drinking games, and ordered in pizzas for dinner.

Friday

Beach Walk

A few of us started off the morning with a nice walk on the beach! Some other girls also did a coffee run before the walk. As we were visiting in early November, it was definitely a bit chillier so we wore the gifted crewnecks. We also ran into another bachelor group in pic below!

Chick-fil-A Breakfast

10:30-11:30: After the walk, we had catered Chick-fil-A get to the house which seriously hit the spot.

Pool Party

We were blessed with incredible weather that day, so spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out with a pool party at the house. Chloe rocked the cutest bedazzled captain hat – don’t have the exact link but this one is very similar.

Pregame/Get Ready

We got ready at the house and called Uber’s for a 30 min ride into town around 5:30p. I loved the photo cutouts they had at the house of Chloe’s fiancé Tyler for all the pics!

Élevé

6:00-7:30p: We stopped at the Élevé rooftop for some pre dinner drinks Espresso Martinis! We were able to snag a table that could fit all of us.

Ritual

The girls made a reservation at the cutest restaurant, Ritual, for 7:30p. Since we are such a large group, the res was for 2 long tables of 10 & 7.

Bar hop on King Street

There are plenty bars to choose from on King Street, but we spent the remainder of the night at Republic! There was both inside and outside with plenty of space for us to all fit. We had so much fun dancing the rest of the night away and wing womaning the remaining single ladies!

Saturday

Acme Lowcountry Kitchen

We kicked off the morning with brunch at 10:30 AM at Acme Lowcountry Kitchen. (Make sure to reserve in advance). We got ready for the day beforehand because we weren’t planning to go back to the house again until after the boat cruise.

Sightsee/Shop Downtown

We spent the remainder of the afternoon exploring Charleston: French Quarter, Rainbow Row, and Shopping on King Street.

Catamaran Excursion*:

We checked in at 2:15p for a 2:30-4:30 PM catamaran boat excursion around Charleston. It was such a gorgeous day and we had a blast hanging on the boat for the rest of the afternoon. Afterwards we called Uber’s back to the house.

Machine Gun Kelly SURPRISE

Leading up to the bachelorette weekend in Charleston, we had a separate group chat without Chloe (the bride) to plan a costume surprise for her! She LOVES Machine Gun Kelly so everyone came prepared to surprise her by dressing up as him for the night! She was SO surprised and loved that we put that together for her. Costume inspo links below!

We walked to the beach for one of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve ever seen! Some of us were brave enough for a cold beach plunge as well which was so fun.

Taco Night

We had catered Mexican to the house which was perfect for a lowkey night in with all the girls.

After dinner we spent the rest of the night drinking & hanging out in the hot tub!

Sunday

There were a lot of early morning departures (mine was 7am) so we pretty much woke up and booked it out of there. We were worried about being able to get an Uber from our location that early in the morning, but eventually were able to secure one. Coordinating larger transportation for group exits could be helpful if you have a large group heading out at the same time. Check out was 11:00 AM for the last girls there.

Hope you enjoyed this Bachelorette Weekend in Charleston recap and let me know if you have any questions! Be sure to also check out additional bachelorette recaps on my site if you haven’t fully decided yet on the final destination! Hope you have the BEST time!!!

When, Where, What/What NOT:

  • When to Meet: We recommend arriving 10 – 15 minutes prior to your trip’s departure.
  • Where to Meet: Look for the blue sandwich board sign that says “Charleston Sailing Adventures” near the North dock (farthest left when facing the water). The crew will meet you there about 15 minutes after departure and check you in.
  • The Bathroom Situation: We have a marine head aboard the boat, however, you have to climb down a ladder to reach it. There is also a public toilet upstairs at the Charleston Maritime Center if you need to use one before we board.
  • What to Bring: Charleston is known for being quite sunny most of the year. To avoid lobster syndrome, you may want to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, etc. to ward off the sun’s powerful rays. Also, remember to wear appropriate shoes! We don’t care about “boat shoes” but, please, NO HEELS, or if you plan to wear heels plan to remove your shoes before getting onto the boat! We want you to be able to keep your balance on the boat. Our trips are BYOB, so feel free to bring whatever you’d like to eat or drink along. And don’t forget your water!
  • What NOT to Bring: Please don’t bring plastic bags or styrofoam on the boat. It is too easy for these items to get blown overboard where they become hazards for our marine life. We do not allow fishing off the boat (we don’t have the proper licensing for that). We do not allow firearms on the boat. All of our trips are NO SMOKING.
