ATX Healthy Food Guide

Just got home from an amazing week in ATX to visit my oldest sister & go to Austin City Limits Music Festival. Sharing a roundup up my favorite healthy eats that we visited in addition to a few other spots still on my bucket list.

Picnik

There are a few locations around ATX including South Lamar, Burnet Road, and East Cesar Chavez. We visited South Lamar which has the full sit down restaurant compare to the other 2 trailer locations.

We love the fact that everything on the menu is grain, soy, gluten, and soy FREE. Picnik has a wide variety of amazing items on the menu and I have yet to find something that I don’t love.

We ordered a variety of plates including the Breakfash Hash Bowl, Caramalized Pancakes, Breakfast Tacos, and French Toast. SO. GOOD. I would recommend placing a reservation in advance as the restaurant location will fill up fast and you could have to wait for a while!

Flower Child

This has been on my bucket list for a long time to visit and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Mother Earth Bowl with salmon and opted for no grains to keep it Paleo & Whole-30 Approved.  The service was super speedy & the aesthetic was really cute with marble countertops and lots of greenery.

Blenders & Bowls

My favorite acai café to hit up in Austin. They have five locations in ATX and are all SOO YUM. The fall seasonal menu is to die for and I have yet to try a bowl I don’t like. They also offer an amazing reward system to earn free items off the menu.

Taco Deli

Love Taco Deli for quick & yummy options on the go. Their breakfast tacos are BEYOND good, and I seriously crave them when I have to leave Austin and go back home.

Juice Society

Variety of locations around ATX. Would recommend their smoothies over their bowls. Their juices & smoothies are so refreshing, especially with that Texas heat!

Leaf

Fresh salads for a fast casual option. If I lived in Austin, this would be my go-to lunch spot when in a rush!

Snapseed

Pre-made healthy food options for on-the-go! If I lived in Austin, I feel like I would definitely hit this up when in a rush. Still on my list of places to try!
